Handcrafted, clean hair care brand seeks to increase brand awareness and develop an influencer marketing program
When Mane Temptation and I decided to work together, the beauty brand had been in business for approximately three years but did not have the visibility the company desired. Mane Temptation's public relations goals were to increase brand awareness and visibility, develop a community partnership, and create an influencer marketing program. Mane Temptation also wanted to expand their audience beyond its current audience to include a more diverse clientele.

With Mane Temptation being a product-based business, it made perfect sense to go the route of working with influencers. For this campaign, we worked with nano-influencers as well as micro-influencers. We decided to work with these specific groups of influencers because we found they were the best fit to reach the brand's target audience and key publics. Because Mane Temptation is still a small business, the brand only worked with influencers on a gifted product approach; however, the influencers were well pleased with the quality and value of the brand's products. I also utilized traditional PR by positioning Mane Temptation's founder as a subject matter expert on the topics of health and wellness and focusing on the brand's unique and compelling backstory.
Secured more than 6 influencer partnerships in 3 months, none of which Mane Temptation had to pay any fees.
Created partnership with The Rose, a local breast health organization, to raise awareness and funds for Mane Temptation's breast cancer initiative.
Secured 10+ media placements to increase brand awareness and provide information to the brand's key public group.
